This kit adopts latex immunochromatography for the qualitative presumptive detection of non-structural protein 1 (NS1) in human serum. This test serves as an aid in the clinical laboratory diagnosis of early Dengue infections even prior to the presence of IgM or IgG antibodies in patients with clinical symptoms consistent with Dengue infection. This test is intended to be used on sera drawn from patients within 1-7 days past the onset of symptoms.
